Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I FIND OUT ABOUT PATIENTS-DERIVED TUMOR XENOGRAFT (PDX) MOUSE MODELS THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR RESEARCH?

The first place to look for available models is in PDXFinder. PDXFinder is a collaboration between European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) and the Jackson Laboratory with the goal of developing a global catalogue of PDX models and their associated data. NIH U24 CA204781 01 and NCO MTB R01 R01CA089713 support PDXFinder.

What do I do when I run out of Cancer Genomics Cloud pilot funds?

The Cancer Genomics Cloud pilot funds are in place to help new users get started with out delay. Large analysis as commonly done for PDX related project may required additional funds. Should you expect to run large analyses (more than getting started runs and tutorials), please send an email to support@sbgenomics.com to explore ways by which funds can be added to your account.

PDXNet researchers

PDXNet researchers will be contacted by the Cancer Genomics Cloud support team as pilot funds run low. Since PDXNet budgeted for consortia computational costs, please respond to the initial support email that you are a PDXNet researcher and would like to be added to the PDXNet billing group.
